Wholesale Tayberry Plants

The Tayberry is a hybrid between a Blacberry and a Raspberry. And they were developed in Scotland.

Allotment growers love them as they are a versatile plant for those with little space. If fruits early in life, by the time they have been established for 3 years you will be getting masses of fruit, some growers get reasonable crops the firat year, especially those who have purchased quality canes.

Care

These are a vigorous plant so need a little room, they will also need support and the ability to be netted to protect them from birds.

Tayberry Varieties include :

'Buckingham' which is a thornless variety is excellent, easy to train and prune. Good sized fruit to 1 - 2 inches (4 - 5 cm) in length.
